4to (333 x 255mm.), containing original programmes with colour and photographic illustrations, original green silk cloth, with sunken panel on upper cover containing a printed illustrated paper title by Goncharova, silk faded, joints torn

A volume containing programmes and issues of Comoedia illustré dedicated to Ballets russes and Galas russes performances. The set designs and costumes were by Picasso, Sudeikhin, Goncharova, Derain, Gross, Gris, Larionov, Cocteau and, of course, Bakst. The programmes also contain photographs of the dancers in their elaborate costumes and form a colourful record of the productions.
