"...Mouth: wow, it's very powerful after all these years, punchy, starting on truckloads of nougat and developing on old sweet wine, all sorts of roasted nuts, buttered caramel and very strong honey. Goes on with crystallized oranges, liquorice, sloe gin... Hints of rubber, quince fruit jelly. The finish is very long, liquoricy, jammy and quite salty... Ah, these wonderful old whiskies!"
