Provenance: The old believer icons from second half of 17th, till 19th century, accurately absorbed all the best from the classical ancient-Russian icon-painting; by following the ancient traditions, the best masters were able to create the masterpieces which are, by form and content, on a par with the sanctities of middle ages. The iconography is ancient. Here we see St John, standing on the banks of the Jordan, baptising Christ. On the right side three angels and on the upper border Lord Sabaoth. Authenticity of every icon is guaranteed. Every icon is sold with extensive written expertise.
