Barbara Bush
ALS signed “Barbara,” one page both sides, 6.5 x 4.25, personal stationery, October 29, 1995. Letter to "Willie," the Swedish Ambassador to the United States, Wilhelm Wachtmeister, in full: "I loved your letter and hearing from you and Ulla. We miss you enormously…both of you. Life is hectic for both of us, but very happy. All our children seem to be doing well. We are such a large family that we always are putting out small fires, but on the whole we are very blessed. George is so full of energy and is doing lots of good things. Playing tennis and golf. Willie—I can neither accept the February invitation or the August invitation. We are very very busy. I am so honored to be invited to both, but I hope you will understand. This comes with lots of love." In fine condition, with four file holes to the top.
