Vintage 1893 "fine cognac" from Barnett & Fils, The "fine champagne" designation is used for a blend of petite and grande champagne, the heart of the cognac production area. Cognac selected by Barnett & Fils - the company was founded in 1869, and renamed "Barnett & Fils" in 1888. In 1895 it was taken over by Elichagaray, and further by Château Paulet in 1969. They are renowned for their very old stock of cognacs. The bottle is in very good condition, good level, excellent tin sealing, label very good condition, the cognac was probably bottled in the second half of 20th century (1960-1970) according to bottle type, sealing type and bottle design. The content is quite dark, typical of brandies having matured for many years in oak barrels. Content was harvested over a century ago, 127 years ago exactly. 4 or 5 generations. 70cl - 40% Higth = 27 cm / weight = 1. 23 kg
