Description:Murano hand blown checkered pattern with chocolate brown Tessere Italian art glass bowl. Signed and documented to designer Ercole Barovier, for Barovier e Toso, circa 1961-1967 in the "Intarsio" technique. The pattern creates four different flower shapes as it grows from the center. Regarding color, in the sunlight you can see it has a chocolate brown color, but in some lighting conditions a hint of a purple shade comes through as well.
