"Battle of Grunwald" allegory by Zdzisław

A great graphic poster by Zdzisław Czermanski "Battle of Grunwald" translated into contemporary times around 1937-39. An allegory of that Battle but with modern characters during WW2. This is a graphic based on a great work by Jan Matejko depicting the battle of the Grand Duke of the Teutonic Order (here the figure of Adolf Hitler) and the Polish King and Grand Duke of Lithuania () and many significant figures present in political life at that time.
