Baume and Mercier built a variety of interesting watches in the Capeland series. This model is the chronograph diver, featuring a unidirectional milled bezel and a 42 mm case size. The vintage good looks combined with a bona-fide Valjoux 7750 and a high dome crystal make it a well made automatic chronograph of the times. The present example has gray subregisters on a black dial for a "reverse panda" effect.
