Additional Information: mid 20th C - An exquisite mask resembling a ram. The whole mask is covered in a gorgeous layer of cowrie shells. The shells show a beautiful patina that compliments their natural texture. The two rounded horns of the sculpture are decorated with red beads in an elegant diamond pattern. Starting from the mask’s nose, a line of dark blue beads runs along the length of the mask. The open mouth of the mask is strikingly decorated with red, white and blue glass beads that resemble the lips, teeth and tongue of an animal.
All items are sold without display stands, except when the base is fixed to the object. Some objects might not remain balanced without a display stand or base.
