Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century BCE. A gorgeous strand of Roman glass beads of striking cobalt blue hues. All of spherical or barrel form, the ancient beads are strung on a modern strand to graduate towards the center where they come to a point. A stunning and wearable adornment from the ancient Roman Empire with the rare ability to serve as something old, something blue, and something new for a blushing bride! Condition Report: Ancient beads on a modern strand with a modern lobster claw clasp to be wearable. Beads all have light signs of wear including a few tiny chips, scratches, and losses. Otherwise, excellent.
