Beautiful Glass Vase titled "水面 water surface. "
This vase is a wonderful piece that expresses the deep tranquility and beauty of the water's surface.

Almost good condition. There are fine scratches and stains. Please refer to the photos for details.

artist: Iwata Hisatoshi(1925-1994) , is a glass artist who created works based on the harmony of various colored glass and gold and silver colors, and who created his own aesthetic space by enthusiastically incorporating new materials such as ceramics. He won some art prizes, a judge of Nitten, the founder of Japan Glass association, born as the son of 岩田藤七 who is the one of the famous glass artist and the Founder of Iwata Glass Company.

His works are housed in museums both in Japan and abroad, including the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo; the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto; the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art; the Japan Art Academy; the Corning Museum of Glass in the United States; and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the United States.
