Belgium - ELG - single shot - central percussion - bolt breech - Percussion - Rifle - 12. Excellent - pre-1880 - Barrel is smooth Old rifle, central percussion system, single-shot, in its interesting large calibre 12, made in Liege in the late 19th century. Works well mechanically, with clear percussion. - white polished needle breech, Liege hallmark. - shortened Chassepot wood with rod channel and sling attachment (small crack with an old repair before the tip - not serious - still in lovely and solid condition (see photos) . - white polished Liege barrel in nice and good condition (interior/exterior) . - all the steel trims are hallmarked. An interesting old rifle with a large calibre, in its patina, with marks, scratches and signs of wear and ageing but it is still in good aesthetic and working condition. Year of manufacture 1866.
