Belgium - Double action (DA) - Pinfire (Lefaucheux) - Revolver - 7mm Cal

Revolver, from Liege, Lefaucheux type, 6 shot cylinder, calibre 7mm pinfire, folding trigger, barrel with sides on thunder, single and double action lock. The weapon is in an exceptional preserved condition, almost new. Polished steel frame and barrel. Slight surface oxidation in some localised places with signs of orange peel. The varnished wooden plates are in very good condition. Fully functional weapon in single and double action. Powerful percussion, impeccable trigger return spring. Excellent indexing and air gap. The extraction rod is functional as well as the loading gate. The cylinder chambers are clean, the barrel is oxidised. All the screw heads are perfectly preserved. It can be completely disassembled without problems. Weapon has been greased and hardly used. A starred ‘ELG’ in an oval appears on the cylinder, a white test hallmark from Liege from 1811 to 1893, as well as a crowned ‘Q’ which is the countermark used by the controller between 1853 and 1877. The weapon has a number ‘26798’on the right bracket. All the parts including the butt plates are numbered ‘77’ in pencil. Packaged with care for shipping in a parcel with insurance to the value of the sale. D2 category weapon, free possession and purchase in France
