superb pistol with Flobert system, signed on the barrel of the Maison LEFAUCHEUX at 6 rue de Vivienne in Paris. 6 mm chamber, with spring extractor, made in Liège around 1840/50 (punches on barrel) . functional mechanism with frank percussion (original springs, the trigger must be slightly pushed forward to block the notches, but perfect holding of the half-weapon and weapon positions) - finely engraved metal, in its homogeneous patina, in beautiful and good condition. - stock and mount in carved walnut, cathedral type with pointed puzzle. old crack on the left side (see photos) , without affecting the solidity. very beautiful Louis Philippe pistol, with its small traces, scratches and signs of use, but remained in a superb state of conservation (see photos) .
