Used for the conversion of human voice into an electrical signal, with acetylene light flame and a selenium cell. Manufactured by Kipp & Zonen - Delft. Consisting of: Speaking horn, mahogany case with gas line, parabolic mirror, gas nozzle and selenium cell, on cast-iron base, size 8 ¾ x 5 ¼ x 7 in. Excellent condition, the only known example today.
