Benjamin Ginzburg (1898-1979), graduated from the Columbia University School of Journalism in 1919; PhD in philosophy at Harvard (1926). He specialized and wrote on philosophical and scientific subjects. In the 1930s, Ginsburg lectured History of Science at New School of Social Research. In the 1950s he served as a research director for the Senate Subcommittee on Constitutional Rights. "The Adventure of Science" (1930) is his first book.
