Partly-printed DS as president, signed ‰ÛÃBenj. Harrison,‰Û one page, 18.75 x 14, June 21, 1889. President Harrison appoints Anson S. Taylor to be "a Justice of the Peace in the County of Washington, in the District of Columbia." Signed at the conclusion by President Harrison and countersigned by Attorney General William H. H. Miller. The red seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. In very good to fine condition, with a tear to the lower left edge, and a complete tear across the center, both repaired via complete backing.
