Provenance/Additional Info: 6.25” tall carving made from a single block of wood. The square base measures 2 1/2” across. One side depicts a happy man with sideburns and moustache. His hat is inscribed in gold “Hurrah for Harrison”. The other side shows a man who has been beaten up badly. His hat is inscribed “Hurrah for Cleveland”. The top has an 1 1/4” x 1 3/4” opening for a short, fat candle. Great condition. A unique, wonderful piece of folk art political Americana.
