Bennett Model 966 Gas Pump in Gulf

Made in Canada. 1954 - 1955. Introduced in the mid-1950s, the 900-series marked a major milestone for the Bennett. It was one of their first lines to feature a wide, panoramic curved glass dial face, completely changing the boxy styling of earlier eras to match the streamlined, modern look of mid-century service stations. Professionally restored in show-quality paint. Reproduction porcelain pump signs. Replacement data plate. Original porcelain face plates with touch ups to chips at edges of number openings. Complete trim and bezels. Retains original data plate. Retains original pressed-steel base. Base is straight. One faint indentation to the middle corner of one skin. Reproduction ad glass. Ad glass on one side slightly warped. Internal pump mechanism removed. Number roll mechanism present but not tested. Hose with correct nozzle present. Reproduction globe.
