Bentley - S3 - 1963

This makes us really happy! This Bentley S3 is certainly one of the most beautiful cars driving around on this planet. Where should we start? First of all, the history: it is fully known from when it was delivered new on 21-11-1963 to Mr. Webster in Wormley up to the current owner. A large number of correspondence has been kept between owner and dealer, customs documents and maintenance invoices. Next is the interior. Absolutely everything shines. The original, ivory white Connolly leather armchairs have a light patina and give a wonderful classic scent throughout the interior. All the burl wood is stunning and shines beautifully. The Wilton wool carpet is new and covered with beige thick sheepskins to complete that ultra luxurious feeling. The engine and gearbox have been meticulously restored and very carefully tuned. Everything was extensively documented with photos, no expense spared when replacing parts such as the cylinder walls, the bearing seats, all gaskets and all other wear parts. A complete brake overhaul was carried out, photos were taken for an honest and reliable overview. After the overhaul, the engine was completely resprayed so everything under the bonnet works and looks like new. Now the bodywork. Completely stripped and restored. The goal was to deliver all fittings and wheel edge options to the paint shop without fillers for really beautiful thin seams. The car was then sprayed in the colour scheme shown here, fully polished once the paint had cured. Afterwards, the thin red piping was manually applied as it should be on a real Rolls Royce or Bentley. Almost all chrome was re-chromed before it was reassembled for delivery, a nice combination with the green tinted glass. In addition to all the documentation, there are is of course also a manual (in French) with supplement. There are plenty of Rolls-Royce Silver Clouds and Bentley S series online, but there are only a few very beautiful ones with a full history, this one is certainly one of those. It drives like a cloud! The car has driven 1,100 km since the complete restoration.
