Size without frame: 52 x 77 cm Size with (complimentary) frame: 57 x 83 cm. Oil work on canvas depicting a seascape with boats, signed at the bottom right B. B. Hemy. From a private collection and one of a pair. Painting in fair condition, with patina, first canvas and coeval stretcher. Some minor restorations emerged under Wood’s lamp. After being tested with solvents, the artwork proved to be authentic in all its parts, including the signature.
