Original drypoint engraving made for Voyages Fantastiques in 1958.
This original work has been enhanced with watercolor to make it an interpretation of Bernard Buffet's major work "The Blue Clown".
A few rare copies of the edition have been enhanced by the artist, only this copy is known to be an interpretation of the blue clown, which makes it a completely exceptional hybrid work.

The 79 x 68 cm frame with silver leaf strip and museum glass (anti-reflective and anti-UV) is offered to you (unless shipping is impossible) .

First edition Joseph Foret from 1958
The work is numbered (a copy of the rare suites with a large margin) 11/37 and signed in graphite by Bernard Buffet at the bottom right.

This work was presented at the Maurice Garnier Gallery and is present in their archives, however they do not issue any certificate of authenticity for engravings, lithographs and hybrid or enhanced works.
