Artist information: German painter, draughtsman, graphic artist and sculptor (1915 Schneidemühl/West Prussia to 2005 Cologne), in 1921 the family moved to Berlin, 1934-39 studied at the Hochschule für Kunsterziehung in Berlin and at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf, 1939-45 soldier in World War 2, in the bombing raids.
