Bernardo Balestrieri (1884 - 1965) - Sculpture, Bimbo che piange - 16 cm - Bronze, Marble

From a model by the sculptor Bernardo Balestrieri, one of his most renowned sculptures "The crying child" in lost wax bronze, made in Neapolitan foundries in the mid-20th century and placed on a base of red Verona marble.
It is immediately striking for the extraordinary features of the subject, the small head with a pacifier around the neck.
The dimensions are approximately 16 cm high and weigh over 1. 7 kg.
Good condition, minimal traces and wear of time.
