Beryl var. Emerald with Schorl and Quartz Kagem Emerald Mine, Kafubu emerald mining district, Lufwanyama District, Copperbelt Province, Zambia 6.7 x 3.3 x 2.0 cm (2.63 x 1.29 x 0.78 in) This elegant combination specimen features a striking cluster of transparent Emerald crystals with associated Schorl and Quartz. The centerpiece is a glassy green Emerald crystal reaching 6.6 centimeters, accompanied by smaller Emerald crystals projecting in multiple directions to form an elegant radiating cluster. Lustrous, charcoal-black Schorl crystals with distinct striations are perched across the Emerald cluster, providing a bold contrast in both color and texture.
