The authenticity of the present work has been confirmed by Pierre Vasarely, President of the Fondation Vasarely, universal legatee and the moral right holder of Victor Vasarely. This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Raisonné de l’Oeuvre Peint de Victor Vasarely, which is currently being compiled by the Fondation Vasarely, Aix-en-Provence.
Condition Report:
This work is in very good and sound condition overall. All elements are present and stable. There is faint surface dust and soiling, most notably in the crevices and visible upon close inspection. There are scattered losses to the pigment, most notably along the hard edges and corners and visible upon close inspection. There is a ½ inch loss to the wood and pigment in the upper right corner.
