Bezalel style Silver Megillah holder , Israeli , 20th century.

Intricate filigree Megillah holder , handle with intertwined coil design, Main body comprising four equal bands of "S" shaped coils, topped by a regal six part crown. Ball atop. No Megillah inside.

Many similar pieces were produced by the famous Bezalel School of Silver in Israel in the mid 1900's.

Exact same piece sold in Sothebys Auction New York 1987 lot 200.
