Bibi Hilton's Carved Ivory Colored Cinnabar Lacquer 21" Chinese Dragon Vase W/Wooden Stand (From the Estate of Mrs. Bibi Hilton) - This stunning Chinese cinnabar lacquer vase was owned by Mrs. Bibi Hilton and was acquired during a trip to Asia. The vase is ornately carved with exquisite dragon motifs and auspicious characters. The vase also has a six character marking on the bottom of the piece, and comes with a wooden base. Measurements: 21"H x 10.5"W x 5"D (base-11" diameter). This item comes directly from the estate of Mrs. Bibi Hilton, and was used as decor in her beloved Gulfport, Mississippi home. Mrs. Hilton was the wife of famed Hilton hotelier and heir Eric Hilton of the Hilton Hotel family, the youngest grandson of Conrad Hilton. As the wife of Eric Hilton, Bibi Hilton traveled the world as a goodwill ambassadress for the Hilton Hotel chain. For over three decades, until his death, Bibi worked alongside her husband as his partner further branding the Hilton name to the internationally iconic status it is today. Bibi Hilton's brother-in-law, Barron Hilton, often acknowledged her as one of the Hilton Hotels Corporation's greatest assets.
