This piece was used as decor in Mrs. Hilton's beloved Gulfport, Mississippi home, as swans were her favorite bird and one of her favorite animals. The pair includes a swan in flight and a resting female swan, both marked "Mute Swan L-3" carved beneath the piece. Measurements: swan in flight-9" x 8" x 11", resting swan-6.5" x 8.5" x 5". Please Note: There is a small chip on one of the leaves on the resting swan. This does not detract from the true beauty of the piece. This item comes directly from the estate of Mrs. Bibi Hilton.
