Known as a “Globustischchen” circa 1820. A spherical body veneered in mahogany and decorated with mother of pearl marquetry, set on a three-sided ebonised support, with a hinged lid and an architectural style fitted interior. Height ca. 90 cm. Diameter ca. 42 cm. Some age damage on good original materials, with a fine patina. (PZ)
