Big corporation key - UK - Forged iron - 18th century
Ancient large iron key, probably belonging to a corporation (perhaps the Masons) from the United Kingdom and dating back to the 18th century. The head is folded inside in a shape of horns, closed by a hand-carved base. Elaborate collar, with 4 rings and a collar interspersed with a connecting pin; cylindrical female barrel, complex key ward, with cylindrical tip shaped and hollow inside. The hand holding the bow bears the writing "BROTHER" while an unreadable motto is engraved on the lower collar, above the barrel.
