The Bible was published on July 28, 1790. The front pages contain handwritten messages that were supplemented with new owners during inheritance. The first message is Gerretje Gillis who died March 13, 1810 and the last is Rijk van Dijk, born April 1877 and died November 16, 1905

The 2 silver clasps are marked with the Utrecht city coat of arms with year letter Q (small hallmark, so 835 silver) and maker's mark ID. This concerns master Johannes van Dam or Jacobus A. Dompeling

The bible and the locks are in good condition. Only the back cover has come loose from the binding. Without serious damage, by the way. See the pictures
