Beautiful sheet metal "de Dion" model car, Made in Germany and produced by Gebruder Bing Nuremberg (GBN) between 1904 and 1907, it reproduces the first real automobiles, inspired by the French De Dion-Bouton vehicles of the period. Hand-painted in light yellow/green with red piping, red sheet metal bucket seats with imitation Chesterfield upholstery, yellow spoked wheels with original rubber tires, steering wheel with lift mechanism that operates the front wheels, handbrake and spring-loaded motor for the rear wheels, headlight for front lighting, equipped with a hand-painted driver's composition. Length approximately 21 cm (8 1/4")
