A pencil-signed and titled landscape from the outskirts of Arizona's Painted Desert, executed on white laid paper. Alternately titled In the Desert, this is among Sandzen's earliest graphic works. Framed to archival standards in a wooden frame with an acid free mat, museum mount, and conservation glass, by the American Legacy Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri, measuring 20 1/2" x 26 1/8" in total.

Condition Report: Not removed from the frame. There appears to be a faintly detectable smudge among the rocks, minor abrasions to the sheet (no tearing or creasing), and a small amount of overall toning.
