Provenance:This circa 1890-1910 politically incorrect trade sign was presumably used as a reminder for your groceries. It is painted on a single pine board that split and was joined back together nicely at some point in its life. Measuring 35" x 11.5" x 3/4" the professionally painted sign has excellent colors (red, white, black, and grey) and wonderful graphics. There is distressing and wear consistent with age. Great piece of Americana
