A Boeotian terracotta votive figurine, perhaps of a goddess, c. 6th Century BC, her body of wide, flat profile with slightly widened foot, wearing headdress, wearing a headdress resembling a ring of petals, her face is simplified with large nose and small mouth, her eyes indicated in dark slip. H: 8 1/8 in (20.5cm). Light deposits and nice for an Archaic Greek figure. Old stand. Ex Northern California private collection.
