Dial: Enamel, eccentric hour chapter ring with Roman numerals, visible five-arm balance with diamond ring on a polished steel disc. Movm.: Moulded movement, 1 hammer / 1 bell, verge escapement, keywind. This rare piece is fitted with a mechanism for repeatedly striking a miniature bell. This outstanding miniature device is a truly sophisticated accomplishment, that is difficult to realise even today. This pendant watch is a combination of a fine piece of jewellery with watchmaking craft and was a novel and fascinating "toy" for the noble and wealthy. Bonna Frères were active as watchmakers and retailers in Geneva from 1770 to 1800. Case: very good. Dial: very good, restaurations, hairlines.
