Boucheron Pair of gold and diamond ear clips/brooches, 1950s

Each of foliate design, embellished with pear- and marquise-shaped, brilliant- and circular-cut, baguette and calibré-cut diamonds, signed Boucheron Paris, maker's marks for André Vassort, French assay marks for platinum and gold, interchangeable ear clip and brooch fittings.

Condition Report:
Ear clip fittings signed Boucheron Paris, further stamped BTESGDG. Maker's marks for André Vassort, 34 rue Saint Anne, Paris. French assay marks for platinum and 18 carat gold. Marked D and G for droite et gauche (right and left). Principal pear-shaped diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50 - 2.80 carats, on average I-J colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Remaining diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.00 - 9.00 carats, on average I-J, some M+ colour, VS-SI, some I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor tarnish to the reverse, evidence of soldering, scratches to the metal consistent with age and wear. In good condition. Interchangeable ear clip and brooch fittings. Measuring approximately 50 x 35mm. Total gross weight approximately 43 grams.
