Magnificent champagne bucket on a silver metal pedestal, from the famous goldsmith house "BOULENGER".
It is decorated on both sides with two lion heads which carry 2 handles in their mouths.

In excellent condition, very beautiful shine (tiny micro-scratches from use) .

“Boulenger is a goldsmith company founded in 1810 in Paris, which was active until 1938. It specialized in cutlery, tea and coffee services, and tableware.

Boulenger was one of the first Parisian goldsmiths of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Its notoriety allowed the company to become the main supplier of silverware to the National Navy. It also obtained contracts for the supply of silverware from the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (C. G. T) for its largest liners, such as the Normandie, in competition with Christofle. ”
