A lovely antique very large Ming dynasty Chinese porcelain bowl with an exterior and interior decoration of 6 scholars and students in a magnificent mountainous landscape with a lot of houses, boats, cliffs, clouds, trees and a sun, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of geometrical circle patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Ming dynasty, 16th century. On the backside marked with 6 characters: Da Ming Cheng Hua Nian Zhi (Made during the great Ming dynasty during the Chenghua period) . Guaranteed original and of the Ming dynasty. Diameter: 22,9 centimeter (!) Condition: The object is considering its size in overall good condition, mouse bites and hairlines, no other damages or any restorations at all. Top quality painting, excellent deepness. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
