Nose
Red berries, cherries, and ripe plums. Ripe red fruits, some hints of milk chocolate couverture. On the background hints of black pepper, herbs, and very subtle peaty smoke.

Palate
Voluminous, complex and elegant. The whisky is very warm and refreshing on the tongue and, despite its age, still got a lot of tension and by no means sedated. The smoke is subtle and the fruit tones ranges from cherry to plum to assist with licorice and toffee with some fine tannins on the background.

Finish
Very long and lingering finish with hints of teak, toffee, cocoa, vanilla and dry spices. The red fruity notes are hardly present anymore.

Nose
Very fruity, very subtle, harmonious, blue Berry, dark chocolate, oak, old wood, no smoke.

Palate
Very intense voluminous start with a lot of character, develops extremely in the mouth, oak, cacao, dark chocolate, then spices follows and at the end a slight bitterness and a little smokiness appears. A very complex and elegant whisky.

Finish
Very long, warm and complex, and lingering finish with hints of oak, dark chocolate, and dry spices.
