Boxed Trix Twin Railway OO Gauge No. 1/366 'Operating Mineral Train' Three-Rail AC Set, Boxed & Complete, c.1950s, contained in its original rectangular red presentation box with hinged lid, the interior brightly printed 'TRIX TWIN RAILWAY' and illustrating the manufacturer's twin-train operating system, comprising black die-cast 0-4-0 tank locomotive, two grey side-tipping operating mineral wagons and illuminated goods brake van, together with the associated operating equipment and accessories, including magnetic operating rail, switching equipment, Trix imitation coal in its original printed black cloth sack, coal-handling accessories and original accessory box containing wiring, Trix Shell oil, shovel; with fitted compartmented interior and original printed inserts.* Literature: The original Trix catalogue describes Set 1/366 as having a tank locomotive, two operating dump wagons, an interior-lighted goods brake van with illuminated red tail lamp, magnetic rail, operating switch, fireman's shovel, coal bin and sack of imitation coal, together with oil, wire, plugs and instructions.
