Boyce Motometer Cadillac Winged Radiator Cap Gauge

Chrome-plated Boyce Motometer automobile radiator temperature gauge and cap manufactured for the Cadillac Company of Philadelphia. The circular instrument features the Cadillac crest on one side and a coolant temperature scale on the reverse, marked "Boyce Moto-Meter" and "The Moto Meter Co., Inc., Long Island City, N.Y., U.S.A." Patented dates are engraved around the bezel. The gauge is mounted on a radiator cap with cast spread-wing ornamentation, combining a functional coolant temperature indicator with a decorative mascot for early Cadillac automobiles. Gallery is uncertain as to origin, age, or date of manufacture.

Dimensions: 5.5 X 6 X 3.75 in.

Condition: Good overall vintage condition with typical to mild surface wear and patina consistent with age and use. Functionality has not been tested and is unknown.
