The antique silver brandy bowl is made after an old model from the 18th century. Standing on a rounded base, both base and bowl have a chased decoration consisting of acanthus leaves and flowers. In the centre of the long side is a peacock and a flower basket with putti head. Applied along the top and bottom edge are "knorren" and the flat cast handles are finished with putti figures. Silver hallmarks: "old" Dutch silver hallmarks - master stamp silversmith AB34 (A. De Groot-Boersma. Sneek. 1875-1909) . Dimensions: Long 24. 5 cm - wide 11. 5 cm - tall 7 cm and a weight of 212 grams.
