Brass 4-Light Chandelier with Glass

21 x 21 inches. An American four-light pan-style chandelier featuring a central frosted glass bowl and three pendant satellite shades. The fixture is constructed with a patinated brass frame characterized by four square-profile arms extending from a central drum. The drum is ornamented with four cast metal decorative appliques depicting classical swags and ribbon motifs secured with screws. The glass components consist of a matching set of molded, frosted glass shades with textured vertical ribbing. The central bowl is decorated with a continuous band of high-relief, hand-painted pink flowers with yellow centers. The three pendant bell-shaped shades feature similar molded floral motifs, hand-painted in shades of red and pink with green leaves. Each pendant shade is suspended from a brass socket housing via a short chain link and is secured by three set screws. The interior of the central drum contains the main wiring hub with porcelain sockets and a suspension chain system. The metalwork displays a natural aged patina with varying tones of bronze and brass.
