Brass Bound Mahogany Captain's Desk, mid 19th Century, engraved with initials TB and date 1839 and opening to a gilt tooled brown leather writing surface with locking compartment and divided recesses for writing implements; side locking drawer (lacks pin), mounted on a later cabinet with drawer above a pair of paneled doors enclosing shelf, on short square legs.
