Movement: Automatic self-winding officially certified chronometer movement. Chronograph function. Rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator.

Case: Stainless steel case 42.0 mm in diameter. Stainless steel screwed-down crown and pushers. Lapidated lugs. Screw back with Breitling logo, engraved with temperature conversion scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Bezel: Stainless steel bidirectional rotating reeded slide-rule pilot bezel.

Crystal: Scratch resistant sapphire crystal.

Dial: Black dial with raised baton hour markers. Luminescent stainless steel outlined hands. Calendar window between 4 and 5. Three guilloche subsidiary dials -- small seconds, 12 hours, and 30 minutes. Outer graduations for the telemeter and slide rule.
