Bridget Riley CH CBE, British b. 1931- Rose Rose, 2012; offset lithographic poster, 80 x 60 cm, (framed) (ARR) Note: This is one of twelve posters by contemporary leading artists commissioned for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since 1912, each host city has commissioned posters to celebrate the Games, and over the last century the posters have become part of the Games' identity. The commissioned artists for London 2012 were Bridget Riley, Fiona Banner, Michael Craig-Martin, Martin Creed, Tracey Emin, Anthea Hamilton, Howard Hodgkin, Gary Hume, Sarah Hume, Sarah Morris, Chris Ofili, Bob and Roberta Smith and Rachel Whiteread.
