British George I/II Walnut and Needlepoint Side Table

circa 1710-1730 with later needlepoint inset top, inset floral needlepoint covered top, plain frieze over a sloped skirt centered by a carved scallop shell, shell carved knees, tapered legs, ball and claw feet, 29 x 34-1/4 x 24-3/4 in.

Condition Report: overall structurally sound, slight looseness at joints, according to museum notes: later needlepoint and top plinth (table likely had a marble top prior to needlepoint inset top), skirt with minor cracks, separations and glued repairs, legs with worn finish and minor cracks, other wear and imperfections expected with age and use
