Description
1888: The 'Orient Express', fine group with a post card 'Imperiales Ottomanes Carte Postale' from 1888 with two halfpenny stamps and Orient Express stamp margined on top with full text on the reverse to a military address in Germany from the known sender 'Antoine Dorusoune Chemins de fer Orientaux' (sende cancel on reverse too). Three pieces, each one with stamp and Orient Express stamp in good condition, 2x brick-red (of which one with right margin) and 1x red. All items with clear cds "BRITISH POST OFFICE CONSTANTINOPLE...".
